- Obituary: DEATH OF LITTLE LUTHER MCDONALD The sable curtain of death casts a gloom over the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. H. McDonald last Friday morning when the death angel came and took from them their little sixteen months old son. He was only sick a few days and his parents watched the struggle hour by hour, and at last the hour of triumph, when the soul took its flight from the earthly body and returned to God, who gave it. The remains were laid to rest in the North Elm Cemetery Friday afternoon, Jan. 22nd. We all extend our heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved parents. Though we miss you here, dear darling, Long for you, but all in vain, There is one bright thought comes to us That our loss has been your gain. The Cameron Herald, 4 Feb 1915
