- Obituary: MRS. ANNA POWELL Mrs. Anna Powell, age 65 years, died at her home at Yarrelton at seven oclock in the morning, Tuesday, December 3, a victim of heart failure. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon with interment in North Elm Cemetery, Green Brothers in charge. Mrs. Powell was born in Alabama on October 16, 1864. - Obituary: MRS. MARTHA MORRIS 93, BURIED SUNDAY Mrs. Martha Morris, who died at the home of her son, A. J. Morris, was buried Sunday at North Elm cemetery, after services were held in the North Elm church. Mrs. Morris was 93 years old. Was born in the state of Tennessee and came to Texas after she grew to womanhood. Surviving her are five children, Mrs. Martha McGoldrick of Cameron, William Morris of Thrifty, Mrs. Ellen McIntyre of Fort Worth, Mrs. Mattie Bradley of Rockdale and Johnson Morris of Buckholts. - Obituary: JO ANN ANDERSON CAMERONâ€â€Funeral services for Jo Ann Anderson, 73, of Houston, formerly of Cameron were held Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Douglas Springer officiating. Burial followed in North Elm Cemetery near Cameron. Mrs. Anderson died Thursday, Sept. 17, in a Houston hospital. A homemaker, she was born Oct. 28, 1935, in Cameron to Joe and Lillie Kuhn. She married Kenneth Anderson and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Anderson was also preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Jo Hutchison. - Obituary: DOLLIE DELIA COLEY BAILEY Dollie Delia Coley Bailey, 88, of Harker Heights died June 4 at a Harker Heights nursing home. Funeral services were held June 7 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Temple with Sonjanette Crossley officiating. A private burial followed at North Elm Cemetery in Milam County. Bailey was born on Jan. 16, 1920 in the North Elm Community to Jesse Coley and Rade Laura Bradshaw. She was raised and educated in North Elm. She also lived in Cameron and Temple, at The Hearthstone and at Indian Oaks in Harker Heights. She attended Immanuel Baptist Church in Temple. She married Allen E. Bailey in Milam County in 1936. She was preceded in death by her husband. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Burnett, and her husband, Dusty, of Temple; and a granddaughter, Rebekah Burnett, of Temple.
