RESOLUTIONS
Whereas the Great and Supreme Ruler of the Universe has in His Infinite wisdom removed from among us two of our worthy and esteemed sovereigns, Robert Houston and William Fikes,
Whereas the long and intimate relations held with them in the faithful discharge of their duties in this Camp makes it eminently befitting that we record our appreciation of them.
Therefore, be it Resolved that the wisdom and ability which they have exercised in the aid of our Camp by service contribution and council be held in grateful remembrance, and
Resolved that the sudden removal of such lives from among our midst leaves a vacancy and a shadow that will be deeply realized by all the members and friends of our Camp, and will prove a serious loss to their beloved wife and children.
Resolved that with deep sympathy with the bereaved family and relatives of the deceased.
We express our hope that even so great a loss to us all may be overruled, for good for Him, who doeth all things well.
Resolved that a copy of these resolutions be spread upon the minutes of our camp, a copy sent for publication to the Cameron Herald and Milam County Enterprise and a copy sent to the bereaved families.
I. M. Wilkerson, G. W. Blanset, F. A. Liddell. Committtee.
