- Obituary: H. W. ARNOLD TO BE BURIED WEDNESDAY H. W. Arnold, 68, former resident of the North Elm Community, died at the home of his daughter in Houston at 5 a.m. Tuesday, October 10, 1944. Mr. Arnold had been in Houston for about four months. He had been in declining health for some time. Funeral services will be held at the South Elm Baptist church at 2:30 p. m. Wednesday, October 11, 1944, by Rev. P. L. Caperton, pastor at Taylors Valley Baptist Church in Bell county and former North Elm pastor. Interment will be made in the North Elm Cemetery. - Obituary: BETTY LOU BAGGERLY Betty Lou Baggerly, age 56, of 1907 N. Karnes Street, Cameron, died Tuesday evening at a local hospital, of an apparent heart attack. Funeral services were Thursday in the chapel of Green Funeral Home in Cameron, with the Rev. Steve Cochran officiating. Burial was in North Elm Cemetery near Yarrellton. Mrs. Baggerly was born January 4, 1926, in Illinois, the daughter to John R. and Lulla Belle Severs. She married Herbert Baggerly in 1947. Survivors include her husband, Herbert Baggerly, of Cameron, one son, Jeffrey Baggerly of Cameron, one brother, John M. Severs, of Bryan; and one sister, Mrs. Winnie Jensen, of Bryan.
