T. A. CASEY DIES AT HOME IN CAMERON T. A. Casey, 74, native Texan and long a resident of Milam county, died at his home in Cameron at 9 p. m. Monday. Mr. Casey had been in declining health for several years and while his condition was not hopeful his death came as a shock to his family and friends. He was born in Oenaville, in Bell county, September 23, 1865. He had been a resident of Cameron for 35 years. He was married to Miss Lola LaGrone of Cameron. Funeral services are to be held at 4 p. m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with Rev. V. M Cloyd, the pastor delivering the tribute. Mr. Casey is survived by his widow, three daughters, Mrs. Lee Shires of Dallas; Mrs. T. B. Jeter of Cameron and Mrs. Earl Strickland of Topeka, Kansas; two sons, Charles Grady Casey and Ray Casey of Bryan. The body of the pioneer will be taken to the cemetery at North Elm where interment will be made. The Marek-Burns Funeral Home is directing the arrangements. Pall bearers were: Grady Allen, Sandy Hickman, J. T. Foster, W. E. Kuehl, Tom Vaughan and Bill Richter. The Cameron Herald, 16 May 1940
