SAM CLARK, 74, DIES IN TEMPLE SERVICES HERE Funeral services were held at 3 p. m. Wednesday for Sam A. Clark, 74, at the First Baptist Church in Cameron. The Rev. B. A. Bledsoe officiated assisted by the Rev. A. F. Russell. Interment was in North Elm Cemetery with graveside services by the Yarrellton Masonic Lodge. Clark, who lived at 517 N. Fifth in Temple, died of a heart attack at 2:30 p. m. Monday in downtown temple. Born October 7, 1883, in Arkansas, he lived in Yarrellton until 1948. He was a member of the Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge. Clark is survived by his wife of Temple; two daughters, Mrs. Cleo Caperton of Snyder and Mrs. Doris Starnes of Houston; one son, John Phipps, Houston; a brother, George Clark of Aransas Pass, and two sisters, Mrs. Lula Schley and Mrs. Bessie Mae Bush, both of Baytown.
