  • Obituary: SERVICES HELD FOR CHARLIE EICHENHORST, RETIRED FARMER Services for Charlie A. Eichenhorst [Eickenhorst], 76, who died in a Temple hospital Monday following an illness of three weeks, were held Tuesday. Rev. Harrison McClaren officiated assisted by Rev. Marvin Harris at services at the Ben Arnold Baptist Church. Burial was in North Elm Cemetery. Mr. Eichenhorst was a retired Ben Arnold farmer. He had lived most of his life in Milam county. He was a member of the Ben Arnold Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of Ben Arnold, two sons, R. B. Eichenhorst of Buckholts, Charles Eichenhorst of Temple, three daughters, Mrs. A. R. Johnson of Yarrelton, Miss Imogene Eichenhorst of Yarrellton, Mrs. Doris Raeke of Austin, three brothers, Fritz and Palmer Eichenhorst both of Cameron and Will Eichenhorst of California, four sisters, Mrs. Ed Westbrook and Mrs. Dave Hemanas both of Cameron, Mrs. Lillie Mae Walzel of San Antonio and Mrs. Emma Cannon of Houston.
