  • Obituary: GRAVESIDE SERVICES HELD MONDAY FOR N. R. ELLIOTT, 54 Graveside services for N. R. Elliott, 54, who died at his home in McGregor, were held Monday at North Elm Cemetery near here. Rev. Bill Anderson officiated at the McGregor services at Lee Funeral Home and also at the graveside services. Mr. Elliott was born in Cameron and had lived in Gatesville Before moving to McGregor 20 years ago. He was a salesman for the Jewel Tea Company until ill health forced retirement in 1961. Survivors include his wife, two sons, Ray Denn Elliott of College Station and Jerry Elliott of McGregor; step-daughter, Mrs. Curtis Love of Houston; step-son, DeWayne Williams of San Benito; two sisters, Mrs. E. E. Phillips of Houston and Mrs. J. D. Cunningham of Rosebud; brother, Bill Elliott of Corpus Christi and five grandchildren. Marek-Burns Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
