FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR MR. GANDY Funeral services were held Saturday for W. L. Gandy, who died at the home of his son, Coy Gandy of Abilene, Friday, September 21, 1951. Rev. P. L. Caperton, assisted by Rev. Bob R. Walker, Pastor Battetown Baptist Church conducted the services at 2:30 P. M. at the Chapel of Greens Funeral Home. Burial in North Elm cemetery. Graveside services were in charge of the Yarrellton Masonic Lodge. Mr. Gandy was 75 years old, having been born in Milam County and had lived here all his life. He was a resident of Buckholts where he had lived for several years. He had been in declining health for the past several years. Among his survivors are his widow, Mrs. Lillian Alice Gandy of Buckholts; son, Coy Gandy of Abilene; two daughters, Mrs. Orba Arnold of Buckholts and Mrs. W. E. Collier of Waco.
