  • Obituary: A. J. Griffin Mr. A. J. Griffin died at his home in Yarrellton Friday and was buried at North Elm Cemetery Saturday afternoon. Funeral services were held at the Yarrellton Baptist church and conducted by Rev. Elliott of Buckholts. Deceased was a prominent and influential citizen and had resided in Milam county many years. He was born in Calhoun county, Alabama in 1850 and came to Texas in 1876. He is survived by his wife, three sons, Frank, Charles and Jack and two daughters, Mesdames John Lott and Ralph Clark.
