GILES HOUSTON Giles Houston, 62, of Bay Saint Louis, Miss. and formerly of Cameron, died April 20 in a Mississippi hospital. He was born Sept. 29, 1912 in Milam County and was a retired farmer. Funeral was at 2 p. m. April 22 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Rev. J. E. Lafferty officiating. Burial was in the North Elm Cemetery. Surviving are one son, Larry Houston of San Francisco, Calif; brothers, Hubert Houston of La Marque and J. Y. Houston of Brazoria; three sisters, Mrs. Beulah Kaufman of Temple, Mrs. Asa Thompson and Mrs. Ida Schultz, both of Dallas; and two grandchildren. The Cameron Herald, 1 May 1975
