MRS. ANNIE MAE (BAILEY) JACKSON Friends and relatives were shocked at the sudden, untimely death of Mrs. Jackson who passed away March 21. Her girlhood was spent in the North Elm community, where a host of friends mourn her passing. She was married August 28, 1927 to Ray Jackson of Copperas Cove, Texas. To this union two children were born, Verna Mae, age 6 and Ray, Jr., age 2. Mrs. Jackson became a Christian in early childhood. She was a devoted wife and mother, her Christian influence will be greatly missed. Funeral services were held from the North Elm Baptist church, March 22, Rev. P. L. Caperton officiating. She was laid to rest in the North Elm cemetery. Active pall bearers were: Sam Clark, Sam Houston, R. Hurry, Ed Angel, Carl Phips and Ewell Russell. She is survived by her husband and two children, her parents Mr. and Mrs. E. Bailey, two sisters, Mrs. Edwin Lehnert and Mrs. Allen Dodson, five brothers, Claud, Joe, Allen, James and Lee. CARD OF THANKS We are grateful to our friends and neighbors for their kindness and assistance during the recent illness and at the death of our beloved wife, mother and sister, Annie Mae Jackson.
