  • Obituary: LOCK SUCCUMBS; RITES IN ROGERS William George Lock, 70, Rt. 2, Rogers, died in a Temple hospital at 10:20 p. m. Wednesday February 15, after a long illness. He was born in Milam County and married Miss Mae Belle Blansett in 1917. He was a farmer until retiring about 5 years ago and was active in church and school affairs in Rogers. Funeral was Friday at the First Baptist Church in Rogers, the Rev. Raymond E. Hall officiating. Burial was in North Elm Cemetery. He is survived by his wife; a son, W. G. Lock of Temple; five daughters, Mrs. Johnny Measels, Mrs. Frank Philley, Mrs. Bruce Rea, Mrs. R. L. Copeland, all of Temple, and Mrs. W. R. Hitchman of Fort Campbell, Ky.; two brothers, Walter Lock of Port Lavaca and Lee Lock of Buckholts; three sisters, Mrs. Charley Russell of Buckholts, Mrs. Pearl Hopper of Houston and Mrs. Roy Johnson of Cleburne; 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
