W. M. LUCAS BURIED AT NORTH ELM TUESDAY Funeral services for W. M. Lucas, 71, of Cameron were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from North Elm Baptist Church with Rev. V. M. Cloyd, pastor First Baptist Church of Cameron delivering the sermon. Mr. Lucas died at his home here at 4:30 Monday afternoon. Survivors include a son, Walter Lucas with the McLane Wholesale company here. Mr. Lucas is survived by his widow; one son, W. H. Lucas of Cameron; one daughter, Mrs. J. F. Reinhart of Denton county; nine grand children; four brothers, T. F. and J. R. Lucas of Oklahoma; R. F. Lucas of Detroit, Texas; J. M. Lucas of California; and one sister, Mrs. L. L. Simpson of Arizona. Pall bearers were Val Fogel, Grady Allen, Allen Dodson, Ray Mabry, Comar Brashear and J. S. Bragg The Cameron Herald, 10 Aug 1939
