MRS. BERTHA MARTIN Mrs. Bertha Martin, 81, formerly of Temple, died Monday in Texas City following a long illness. Funeral was at 2 p. m. Thursday in the chapel of Green Funeral Home in Cameron with burial in the North Elm Cemetery. Surviving are one son, Elmer L. Martin of Texas City; five daughters, Mrs. Mannie Houston of La Marque, Mrs. Willie Reynolds of San Bernardino, Calif., Mrs. Rae Coley of Temple, Mrs. Millie Armstrong of Texas City, and Mrs. Myrtis Vann of Waco; two brothers, Bob Matthews of Cameron, Lee Matthews of Buckholts; nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
