SUSIE B. FINNEY Susie B. Finney, 88, of Lampasas died Jan. 27 at a Killeen hospital. Pastor Jesse Simon officiated at her funeral Jan. 31 with burial following at North Elm Cemetery. She was born Dec. 9, 1915 in Nix to Thomas and Tennessee "Tennie" (Nichols) Poole. She was a homemaker, as well as a Pastworthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Saratoga Lodge in Lampasas. She was also a member of Maplewood Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons Wayne Finney and wife Ruby of Watauga, Roy Finney of Prosper and Deorald Finney and wife Melodie of Lampasas; brother Arden Poole and wife Carol of Lampasas; sisters Mary Ory and Parma Watson, both of Lampasas and Fay Southerland of Hopkinsville, Ky.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
