  • Obituary: C. T. RANEY DIES AT HOME TUESDAY Final rites will be held at 2:30 p. m. Thursday, February 14, for Cullen Thomas Raney, 54, who died at 3:45 p. m. Tuesday while working in the yard at his home. Services will be in the Full Gospel Tabernacle at Cameron with the Rev. H. M. Bowley officiating. The body will remain at the Green Funeral Home until the hour of the services. Burial will be in North Elm Cemetery. Born near Buckholts and having lived all his life in Milam County. Raney is survived by his wife: one daughter, Mrs. Donald Shuffield of Temple; two sons, Glynn and Jackie Raney, both of Cameron; one grandchild; three brothers, M. M. Raney of LaPorte, C. S. Raney of Buckholts and F. G. Raney of Houston; and three sisters, Mrs. J. E. Hill of Fort Worth, Mrs. J. C. Williams and Mrs. Artie Reese, both of Pasadena. The Cameron Herald, 14 Feb 1957
