MRS. ARNOLD DIES IN HOUSTON Mrs. H. W. Arnold, 81, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. R. Laird in Houston at 9:30 p. m. March 25 following an extended illness. Funeral services were held 2 p. m. Friday at the Chapel of Green Funeral Home with Mr. Malcolm Smith, Church of Christ minister from Navasota officiating. Interment was in North Elm Cemetery. Mrs. Arnold had been a resident of Milam County for the past 40 years. Survivors are: 5 children, Orba Arnold of Buckholts, Arlie Arnold of Sumner, Texas, Mrs. Boyd Rice of Cosse [Kosse], Mrs. Vince Ward of Houston, and Mrs. H. R. Laird of Houston; 1 sister, Mrs. W. R. Underwood of Ranger; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Grandsons were pallbearers.
