  • Obituary: LOIS H. SOLOMON Lois H. Solomon, 80, of Route 2 Buckholts, died Friday afternoon in a Cameron nursing home following a lengthy illness. Funeral services were at 2 p. m. Sunday at Green Funeral Home Chapel in Cameron with Rev. James Lafferty officiating. Burial was in North Elm Cemetery near Yarrellton. Mr. Solomon was born Oct. 21, 1904, in Rosebud and lived in Yarrellton community most of his life. He was a member of the Yarrellton Baptist Church. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Geneva Solomon of Yarrellton; three sons, C. E. Solomon of Lolita and Wilford and Delmer Solomon, both of Yarrellton; six daughters, Hazel L. Murff and Jeanne Williams, both of Houston, Shirley Howard of Texas City, Dorothy L. Davidson of Gause, and Frances Price and Martha Krenek, both of Cameron; one brother, Hubert Solomon of Minerva; four sisters, Gertrude Brown, Lucille Chappel and Josephine Miller, all of Rosebud; and Aslee Franke of Temple; 20 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
