CECIL ELWOOD STEVENS Cecil Elwood Stevens, 76, of Cameron died Wednesday morning in a Rosebud hospital. He was a native of Milam County and a retired farmer. Funeral was at 2 p. m. Friday at the Battetown Baptist Church, the Rev. Ed Mustoe officiating. Burial was in North Elm Cemetery. Surviving are three sons, Denson and Johnny Stevens of Houston and J. R. Stevens of Mount Holly, N. J.; six daughters, Mrs. Corinne Little of Compton, Ky., Mrs. Helen Hairston of Temple, Mrs. Doris Moody of Minerva, Mrs. Joy Kirk, Mrs. Bettie Fikes and Mrs. Jo Ann Bumbera, all of Houston; two brothers, Clarence Stevens of Sweetwater and Leonard Stevens of Coleman; 20 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
