FORMER RESIDENT L. R. WALLACE BURIED TUESDAY L. R. Wallace, 66, died at his home in Irving at 11:30 a. m. Sunday. Funeral services were held Tuesday, 2 p. m. at the First Baptist Church of Cameron with Masonic graveside services at North Elm Cemetery. Wallace was a resident of Cameron until 1957 when he moved to Irving. He was employed by the Irving School system. Born in Milam County, in the Yarrellton Community, he was a member of the Baptist Church and St. Andrews [San Andreas] Masonic Lodge. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. L. R. Wallace of Irving; two daughters, Mrs. Werdna Miller of Louisville, Kentucky and Mrs. Nadine Brooks of Ft. Worth; 3 sons, Brozi Wallace of Waco, Royce Wallace of New Albany, Indiana and John Ray Wallace of Dallas; his mother, Mrs. J. R. Wallace of Cameron; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Colburn of Yarrelton and Mrs. August Knipp of Cameron and 13 grandchildren. The Cameron Herald, 23 Nov 1961
