SERVICES HELD HERE FOR FORMER COUNTIAN Funeral services were held on Wednesday morning at Greens Funeral Chapel for Charley Weber, 89, former Buckholts resident. Burial was in North Elm Cemetery. Weber, a retired farmer, died Monday afternoon in Orange, Texas. He had lived most of his life in Buckholts, moving from there in 1949. Survivors include seven sons, George and Clarence Weber of Texas City; Jesse, Buckholts; Maxie of Chicago; Charley of Houston and Jack and Billy of Lake Charles, La.; two daughters, Mrs. Claude Stubbs and Mrs. F. H. Houston of Texas City. He is also survived by one brother, Fritz Weber of Marlin, 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild. The Cameron Herald, 1 Aug 1957
