JOE ZUBICEK Joe Zubicek, 73, resident of the Yarrellton Meeks communities, died in a Temple hospital Wednesday afternoon. He had farmed in Milam County for the past 47years. He was born March 12, 1899 in Austin County and moved to Milam County in 1925. Funeral service was held at 1 p. m. Friday in the chapel of Green Funeral Home, Rev. Ike Hargrove officiating. Burial was in North Elm Cemetery. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Coufal of Wallis; one brother, Sam Zubicek of Bellville; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Pallbearers were Frank Schiller, R. B. Eickenhorst, Doyal Arnold, Henry Olis, Melvin Provasek, and Gillford Solomon. The Cameron Herald, 24 Apr 1972
