A. B. RICHARDS DIES HERE EARLY SUNDAY A B. Richards, 76, for many years a resident of Milam county, died at his home in Cameron at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, June 18, 1944. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Monday, June 19, 1944, from the family residence with Rev. C. W. Sanders, Pastor First Baptist Church conducting. Mr. Richards had been gravely ill for months. He formerly lived and was a large farmer in the North Elm community. Mr. Richards is survived by his widow; five sons, T. B. Richards, Corpus Christi; R. F. Richards, Freeport; Jake Richards, Cameron; Jack Richards, Corpus Christi and Jim Richards, Cameron; daughters Mrs. Thurman Donaldson, Cameron and Mrs. Grady Allen of Cameron; seven sisters and one brother. There are 17 grand children and 3 great grand children surviving. Mr. Richards was born September 5, 1868, in Barto, Ga. He came to Texas in 1898?.
