  • Obituary: HELEN RUTH SAWYER Helen Ruth Sawyer, 69, of Cameron died Jan. 2 in a Cameron hospital. Graveside memorial services will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. at the North Elm Cemetery near Cameron with the Rev. Tim Cheatham officiating. The body will be cremated. Sawyer was born June 20, 1936 in Maysfield to Henry Madison and Allie (Harbor) Holloway. She worked as a healthcare giver with Girlings. One sister and four brothers preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Wesley Sawyer of Cameron; children, Allen Sikes of Mountain Home, Ark.; Tina Sikes of Hot Springs, Ark., and Kenneth Peterson of San Antonio; brothers, Billy Ray Holloway of Burleson and John Denson Holloway of Pasadena; sisters, Hazel Steel of Tomball; Fay Janes of Dallas; Ann Webb of Rosenberg and Nylan Lynn Holloway of Fredricksburg and four grandchildren.
