MARGARET “MAGGIE†ELVA RICHARDS Margaret "Maggie" Elva Richards, 87, of Montgomery and formerly of Milam County died May 25 at a hospital in The Woodlands. Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Cheatham officiating. Burial will follow in the North Elm Cemetery. Family visitation will be Thursday at 8 a.m. until the service time. Richards, a retired nursing home administrator, was born July 26, 1915 in Milam County to Mr. and Mrs. Jim Dodson. Her mother died when Richards was very young. Her husband Johnnie Richards preceded her in death in 1981. She is survived by her daughter Darlene Walls of Montgomery; sister Lou McCrummin of Wyoming; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
