Funeral services were held Dec. 7 at Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron with the Rev. William Angel officiating. Burial followed at North Elm Cemetery. Horton was born Aug. 5, 1960 in Rockdale to James Henry Horton Sr. and Berniece McGoldrick Scarborough. He was a member of the First Christian Church and owned and operated JH Concrete Construction. Survivors include his parents, Billy and Berniece Scarborough of Cameron; daughter, Lindsey Horton of Temple; brothers, Clint Scarborough of Dallas and Gary Scarborough of Cameron and sisters, Tammy Moehlman of Midlothian and Deanna Robertson of Lexington.
