Hurry died Nov. 15 in a Bellville nursing center. He was born Jan. 6, 1919 in Buckholts, the son of Rufus and Lola (Fuller) Hurry. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Standard Hurry of Bellville; son, Thomas Raymond Hurry of White Rock, N.M.; daughters, Carolyn Thompson Hurry of Bellville and Debra Sonnier of Houston; and three grandchildren. Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron was in charge of the arrangements.
