HUBERT FIKES Funeral services for Hubert Fikes, 76, of Cameron were held at 2:30 p. m. Saturday in Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home, the Rev. David Starkey officiating. Burial was in North Elm Cemetery. Fikes died Friday morning in a Cameron hospital. He was born April 3, 1903, in Milam County. He was a retired tailor. Surviving are four brothers, Joe B. Fikes of Cameron, Chester Allen Fikes of Corpus Christi, Kie Fikes and Ralph Fikes, both of Houston; and one sister, Mrs. Bessie Locklin of Cameron. The Cameron Herald, 9 Mar 1980
