  • Obituary: BERTA WEEMS Services for Mrs. Berta Weems, 92, of Cameron, were at 10 a. m. Tuesday in Green Funeral Home in Cameron. The Rev. Mack Brister officiated. Burial was in North Elm Cemetery near Yarrellton. Mrs. Weems died Sunday in a Cameron hospital after a brief illness. She was born April 16, 1888, in Milam County, the daughter of Crawford Powell and Fannie Redden Powell. She was a member of the South Elm Baptist Church. Surviving her are a daughter, Mrs. Annie Jo Duncan of Tuscola, Texas; a brother, Rueben F. Powell of Ft. Worth; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
