- Obituary: RALPH CLARK BURIED AT NORTH ELM FRIDAY Funeral services for Ralph Clark, 65, were held from the Chapel of the Greens Funeral Home, Friday, May 11, at 4 P. M. with Rev. Percy Corkern, officiating. Interment was made in the North Elm Cemetery. Mr. Clark died of a heart attack near Van Horn, Texas sometime Thursday morning, May 10. He had been residing in South Texas for a number of years. At the time of his death he was living in San Antonio where he was manager of a Traveling Bureau. He suffered the attack while riding in his automobile and died instantly. He formerly lived in Milam County, being born and reared here and was well known in all sections of the county. He had lived for many years in the Yarrellton Community where his family was early settlers in that part of the county. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ella Clark of Cameron, two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Pittman of Cameron and Mrs. Estelle Terry of Grand Prairie and one son, Norris Clark of Monahans; Two brothers, Sam Clark of Temple and George Clark of Aransas Pass; three sisters, Mrs. Lula Ashley of Baytown, Mrs. Bessie Mae Busch of Baytown, and Mrs. Maggie Pargel of Ganado. Two Grandchildren also survive. Pallbearers were Charlie McCall, Charles Terry, Cleve McCall, Jim Mann, Ed Westbrook and Charlie Russell. The Cameron Herald, 17 May 1951

- Obituary: SAM CLARK, 74, DIES IN TEMPLE SERVICES HERE Funeral services were held at 3 p. m. Wednesday for Sam A. Clark, 74, at the First Baptist Church in Cameron. The Rev. B. A. Bledsoe officiated assisted by the Rev. A. F. Russell. Interment was in North Elm Cemetery with graveside services by the Yarrellton Masonic Lodge. Clark, who lived at 517 N. Fifth in Temple, died of a heart attack at 2:30 p. m. Monday in downtown temple. Born October 7, 1883, in Arkansas, he lived in Yarrellton until 1948. He was a member of the Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge. Clark is survived by his wife of Temple; two daughters, Mrs. Cleo Caperton of Snyder and Mrs. Doris Starnes of Houston; one son, John Phipps, Houston; a brother, George Clark of Aransas Pass, and two sisters, Mrs. Lula Schley and Mrs. Bessie Mae Bush, both of Baytown.
