Obituary: P. O. ARMSTRONG Funeral services for Mr. P. O. Armstrong, 81, who passed away in a local hospital Wednesday afternoon, were held Friday, Nov. 6, at 2:30 p. m. in the chapel of Greens Funeral Home. Rev. Jas. Lafferty officiated. Burial was in North Elm Cemetery. Mr. Armstrong was a retired farmer, having lived in the Yarrellton and North Elm communities before moving to Cameron. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. P. O. Armstrong of 900 W. Main St., 2 sons, Earl Armstrong of Winfield, Kansas, and Lonnie Armstrong of Cameron; 3 brothers, Vester of Bluffdale, Pollie of Stephenville, Wade of Fort Worth; 4 sisters, Mrs. Lena Cantrell of Fort Worth, Mrs. Della Lykes of Bluffdale, Mrs. Babe Fallin of Bluffdale, and Mrs. Klona Vander of Stephenville. Pallbearers were Buddy Fuller, Grady Fikes, Hardy Fuller, Wayne Wieser, W. O. Rinn, Ray Westbrook, Ottis Gooch and Donald Ray Armstrong. The Cameron Herald, 12 Nov 1964

Obituary: MRS. ARNOLD DIES IN HOUSTON Mrs. H. W. Arnold, 81, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. R. Laird in Houston at 9:30 p. m. March 25 following an extended illness. Funeral services were held 2 p. m. Friday at the Chapel of Green Funeral Home with Mr. Malcolm Smith, Church of Christ minister from Navasota officiating. Interment was in North Elm Cemetery. Mrs. Arnold had been a resident of Milam County for the past 40 years. Survivors are: 5 children, Orba Arnold of Buckholts, Arlie Arnold of Sumner, Texas, Mrs. Boyd Rice of Cosse [Kosse], Mrs. Vince Ward of Houston, and Mrs. H. R. Laird of Houston; 1 sister, Mrs. W. R. Underwood of Ranger; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Grandsons were pallbearers.
