- Obituary: PRICE SERVICES HELD HERE SAT. Funeral services were held at Marek-Burns Funeral Chapel Saturday at 3 p. m. for S. R. Price, 68, Liberty Community. Rev. H. M. Bowley and Rev. Kenneth Haley officiated and burial was in North Elm Cemetery. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary Price of Liberty Community; his mother, Mrs. Effie Price, Cameron; one son, Buck Price, Dallas; one daughter, Mrs. Susie Mae Sheffield, Cameron; one step-daughter, Mrs. Johnnie Ray Posival, Liberty Community; one brother, Aubrey Price, Cameron; two sisters, Mrs. Dave Whitley, Cameron and Mrs. Irvin Sylvester, College Station, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Alvin Roberts, Jack Logan, Carl Black, Wayne Wieser, Pete Miller and Grady Allen. CARD OF THANKS We wish to express our thanks and appreciation to those who assisted in any way or who sent flowers, food and cards of sympathy in the loss of our dear husband and father. - Obituary: C. T. RANEY DIES AT HOME TUESDAY Final rites will be held at 2:30 p. m. Thursday, February 14, for Cullen Thomas Raney, 54, who died at 3:45 p. m. Tuesday while working in the yard at his home. Services will be in the Full Gospel Tabernacle at Cameron with the Rev. H. M. Bowley officiating. The body will remain at the Green Funeral Home until the hour of the services. Burial will be in North Elm Cemetery. Born near Buckholts and having lived all his life in Milam County. Raney is survived by his wife: one daughter, Mrs. Donald Shuffield of Temple; two sons, Glynn and Jackie Raney, both of Cameron; one grandchild; three brothers, M. M. Raney of LaPorte, C. S. - Obituary: MRS. JENNIE L. RICE Mrs. Jennie L. Rice, 85, of 101 N. College St., Cameron, died Sunday morning in a local hospital following a short illness. Funeral was at 3 p. m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Cameron with Rev. James Lafferty officiating. Burial was in the North Elm Cemetery. Mrs. Rice was born December 2, 1892 in Montgomery County, the daughter of John Ford Hurry and Maggie Smith Hurry. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church, the Cameron chapter Order of the Easter Star No. 553, and the Zobar Temple No. 65, Daughters of the Nile of Wichita, Kansas. She had been a resident of Cameron for the past 25 years. Surviving are four sons, Gus F. Knight of Pasadena, Charles Knight of Scottsdale, Ariz., Doyle Rice of Houston and Oxsheer Rice of Ben Arnold; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Jeanette Kelly of Hemet, Calif., and Mrs. Agnes Jones of Wichita, Kans.; 23 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Williams of Austin.
